Am I the only one who thinks Winchester Bros and Starsky and Hutch are eerily similar

So there are those two sexy guys, one taller with longish hair and shorter one with a car…

The taller guy prides himself on his college education and cultural refinement. He’s more balanced, calmer and empathic of the two - the one to reach out for victims and the one to comfort them. He thinks he’s the ‘adult’ in their duo (being more sophisticated and logical), and he’s self appointed conscience of the dynamic duo.

At the same time, he rebels against authority and his family.

He eats healthy. Or at least tries.

If you have sex with him, you’ll either die (especially if you’re wife/really serious girlfriend)  or get really hurt. And if you don’t die or get hurt… that means you were the baddie of the episode, sorry.

Oh, and don’t forget the bitchface. He’s a master of bitchface. And bitching about everything the other guy does.

Oh and he stopped getting haircut in 1st season.

The shorter guy is in unhealthy relationship with his wonderful car that is his pride and joy (and at one point he will comfort the other guy by offering him to drive). Seriously, you don’t want to mess with his baby.

He’s trying to be the manly macho guy, but in reality he wears his heart on his sleeve. He IS tough guy, no doubt about that, but when it comes to it, he’s the more emotional of the two. Oh, and he’s big kid at heart – and he’s great with kids, too (he really connects with children, and gets them to open up to him). He’s the enthusiastic one.

Family is important to him – and he’s damn proud of his father, whom he considers a hero, even though others might disagree. He continues his father’s work.

He’s a big eater, stuffing himself with whatever he can find… except for healthy ‘rabbit food’.

Did I mention his profound love for his car?

He’s a real smartass that can’t keep his mouth shut. Oh, and somehow he always gets to be the butt of the joke.

He often teases the other guy for being ‘geeky’, but, in reality, he’s the one to know old movies and get obscure popculture references.

And those two guys? They would do anything and everything for each other.

Some scenes from the episode Starsky & Hutch on Playboy Island II (aka Murder on Voodoo Island II).

It’s okay now. It’s gonna be okay.
